Is my father the oldest KR1-S rider?

Post by The Prodigal Son »

This is my bike which I've had for 14 years.

My dad is 66 and is riding this at present.

It looks a bit different since he fell of it at the Hoghton Tower Sprint :(

Minimal damage (and the bike is nearly back to as shown)

The plan is to get this back to original white green blue C4 colours.
I still have the bodywork which will be sorted (when I get the time)

The bodywork came as a job lot for £30 about twelve years ago.
I'm not sure who made it, but it's the same seat as what is on my sprint KR1-S.

That was the first (and last!!!) time I will race at Hoghton Tower Col
Apart from the weather, the pit area could only be described as a quarry.
I know my bike is low (3" clearance) but I had to push it through the pits, as it would ground out badly.

The bike just went sideways off the line (should have brought my racing wet rear  ) and I was more concerned about getting my dad checked out from his earlier accident.

I should have done the Straightliners meet at Elvington instead :x

Jeez Rockerted, it looks like you have handed on the title
