Which tyres?

Post by TC »

Seen various recommendations for tyres to suit a KR-1S and what I'm looking for is a reasonably sporty tyre but not one that's out-and-out track use and lasts 5 minutes!

Scanned the various manufacturers websites and nobody seems to offer a tyre from their standard range (I guess a little 1990 bike doesn't matter to them when they can sell wads of rubber to the 600 boys).

The bike has AV27's on now, which will do OK to run it in but don't look great for proper use.

Sizes currently fitted:
Front 110/70R17
Rear 140/60R18

Your recomendations please gentlemen!

Cant speak about anything else , but won't be bothered experimenting either , Alpha 10s go great , or the earlier GPR70s if you find a set cheap . Both stick like fertilizer .
