Cartridge Forks

Post by mj43 »

New Demon tweeks catalouge turned up yesterday. Flicking through noticed some Matris fork cartridges - look sexy I love anodised ally.

Do them for the z750 - tasty and for my model. Now my z750 forks let it down brill bike but suspenders not up to scratch. Not bad whole assembly £299.

Go me thinking - z750 has 41mm forks - just been out and measured them 28" as good as I could tell.

See where I am going - KR legs are about the same length give or take 5mm :)

Need to investigate further - might be a way of upgrading the KR suspenders easily?

Oh well 'all that glitters....' and all that

Had a look on the Matris site - doesn't look as if the forks are more sophisticated than the KR. http://www.matrisdampers.com/eng/F05%20KE.pdf

Going to have to look around as it might be possible that a cartridge of another bike will fit

Plus it would have meant having them set up for the KR "yes". So you would have to add that ££ to it ?.
