Fenno, would the Kr1 caliper & mount not refit. ? Looks like an easier way to 17" . Nice to see a pic of the whole bike when fitted, just to see the proportions. Alan.

Its off a CBR 250RR. The KR1S caliper and bracket fit straight on but with the torque arm I cant use a 150 slick, so ill just get a slide welded on the swingarm, now have to find a 520 rear sprocket to fit, cbr has a 428. I havent tried it with the r6 shock yet, toying with the idea of using an NSR front end as well, Ozzie FE rules dont allow USD

Hi mate
Must be Gettin old ment NE 1 formula three, against the 400 diesels, its the 500 Ive got in Forgotten Era
Wont be at Wakefield, long story but have to have a pin taken out of right ankle, (RGV and turn 3 at Oran) a while back, should have been on a kawasaki, they dont seize up when cranked over on full load
There was Not one KR1 or S at the Barry Sheene Memorial either, bit disapointing

Couldn't justify the expense to go in the end . Calculated it was going to cost me around $1500 to go after having to take a day off etc . Maybe next year and I might have something to cross enter and make it worthwhile .
Sorry to hear about the pin , not so handy for racing
Should have my new motor sorted for Wakefield and have been offered a bucket to cross enter on

Had a think about this, cbr 250s aren't over common in the UK, but there's plenty of cbr400s knocking about.
How about one of these in the back end of a 1s to get a 17 inch rear

Anyone know if it's the same size spindle? Right, I'm off to find a cbr400 with a damaged front end

update
400 in OZ is the same wheel as the 250. Spoke with Jim Irwin at JT sprockets and JTR 245/2 changes rear sprocket from 428 to 520 come in 38 to 47. off a xl 200-250 and bolts strait on. ended up using the KR1S rear caliper and put a kink in the torque arm to clear the 150 tyre
FRONT
Used CBR 250 - 400 wheel, used vfr/cbr discs same size as KR1S, ground down the end of the axle spacers and it fits the KR1S calipers, used the KR1S axle with different bearings, didnt get the numbers off the bloke but hes going to email em to me. see attached picture

CBR250RR CBR400RR wheel fitment
Im guessing the CBR250 (MC22 gullarm) rear wheel is only a 17 x 4.00
whereas the CBR400 (NC29 gull) rear is 17 x 4.50
can someone confirm
