took it again yeserday
stopped en-route and petrol pissing out again
carbs off once more and seemed ok inside
however touch wood i think i have now solved the leak
took the valves/floats off and blew down the petrol
pipe on each carb and about half a dozen bits of crap flew out of each valve seat.
think they must have been lodging the valves open each time the
petrol started coming through - stuck in there prior to fitting the
filters
will find out next week !

nice job mate, colour scheme is inseprable from the jap spec model. also think the kr1 s pipes make the bike look 10yrs younger compared to the kr1, also worth about 5bhp apparantly. definetly the best mod money can buy without using a bastard file/or tuner aswell as keeping a standard theme to the bike. the old kr1 pipes looked a bit TZRish don't they? btw, the white wheel's compliment the job perfectly. was thinking of a black/green with white wheels paint scheme for the race bike as it can be done without spending big buck's although im not sure of a scheme atm, any suggestion's anyone?

sprayed the frame matt black - although it look more like satin (seems to stay clean for some reason and easiest colour to re-touch if necessary)
took the swingarm out last weekend to do it and greased all the linkages at same time
did cheats job on the frame by spraying in situ with careful masking but you would have to look carefully to know i hadn't stripped it
