Finally got my parts from the UK to rebuild my crank. Will see you there.
The event will be broadcast live on the net, see the website.
Cheers George.

It will be well worth the journey, you won't regret it. Trip should only take 4 1/2 hours. Look for the only KR1 in the pits. Not to be confused with the KR1 with the XR500 motor mounted in it.col wrote:I'm planning on coming down but its a big drive from hams
especially with a xmas day BBQ hang over.

Post race report.
An awesome day in the stinking hot sun. Practice and qualifying did not get off to a good start. Bike had no power! I noticed that the power valves weren't working. I put up with it for practice and didn't qualify very well. 24th in F3 and 20th in post classic. I pulled the thing to bits and found the cables were a bit tight. I backed the adjuster off a bit and away she went. Why I didn't do that before I'll never know. Lap times improved by 2 seconds. At the end of the day it all came down to the starts and was basicly a prosession after that. The fourstrokes deffinantly have the advantage on the starts and the stop and turn nature of a street circuit. I managed to improve my finish 9 places better that qualifying in F3 (first 250cc two stroke) and 6 places better in post classics. Check out http://motorsports.sportsimages.co.nz/m ... mId=116949 for photos of the event.
