Are there any other calipers that fit the KR-1? I know there is other stuff that fits the S but have not heard anything about the 1
Cheers

Further to the above, have a look at these:
Nissin 4 pots on a ZZR 600
Tokico 6 pots on a ZZR 1100
Does the ZZR family have the same calipers as a KR-1S? if so a few handy brake upgrades there.
Anyone found any info on the KR-1?
Cheers

The brakes as fitted if working like new are awesome.
Putting 6 potters on, whilst looking bling, only adds unsprung weight. You would also prob need to fit wider discs as the KR-1 runs very light very narrow disks. Both these may improve braking marginally but if the brakes are tip top they are already capable of putting you over the handle bars.
Thogh the SP version of the ZXR400 runs KR-1S type calipers I have fitted boring old ZXR400L calipers (downgrade?) as they are 1/2 kg lighter.
Fitting 6potters + the bigger discs may increase your unsprung mass 2kg
If going bling go upside downers with radial calipers then I think you win all round performance + looks.
WEll thats my tuppence
