Ok, noticed injector oil dripping from carburettor manifolds dodgy I know. And decided it was because they were perished and cracked, but when I look closer saw they were not in bad shape.
Then I noticed there was no gasket between the reed valve and the block and I believe there should be.
I am baffled as to why some plonked has been threw the bike and forgot to put them back in.
My only suggestion is a different reed valve has been fitted, do standard kr1s (1990) have 3 flaps on the reed valve as the exploded diagram suggests or 6 carbon fiber looking ones like i have.
Thats not right

gaskets
I think my engine was missing them as well, it had been tuned at stan s,
they might be left out for performance by increasing crankcase compression, pumping
They should be sealed with a gasket sealant if left out.
