Ta. It will be interesting to say the least, every other bike I've ever bought I've at least seen and heard running before I've bought it, this will be fun :). Bringing something to life which gets delivered dead or at least unknown, there will be great satisfaction the first time I fill the garage with that beautiful blue smoke.

Remy,
Hi There Phil Watkins here in Australia. I may have the parts you want if they cant be found in Asia. Are you Malay national or Xpat?

This photo link shows lots of detail for KR250 and some of the parts bikes I own.

Hi everyone. I'm Fanis, I'm from Greece and a 2T fan. I have been given a KR250 from a friend who has 3 of them and no time to repair them. So he gave me a red one, some parts missing (like the fairing, rear right indicator lens, a broken right footrest and some other stuff). Anyway, the bike has never been registered in Greece, and I only have the papers from the customs and the sale receipt. So my only option is to register it as a classic bike in two years time. I have many questions about the bike and hopefully I'll start a thread about its restoration, though with the financial situation it'll be a long one. Cheers, Fanis

Hi, I'm Saeid and I'm from Bushehr, Iran. Few years back bought a KR250S in a mess condition. Due to my job and being away most of the year on ships it took long time to finish the KR, if still can be called KR!
Thanks Tim for the manual, shall post some photos soon.
Cheers.....

May I ask what mods you've made on the induction side?

I had lots of difficulties finding parts for this bike, I had to use taller
pistons(Yamaha 125) which made me use spacers below cylinders.
Compression is 10.7kg/cm2 which is within the limit.
Good thing about this piston is it has till size 1.25 and it is available in
Iran unlike KR piston.
Rotary fuel disks were badly damaged, I removed them together with
adjacnt reeds(PRIS system). I used Yamaha 125 reeds and fabricated
housing for them, this made the carbs miss their place with respect to
air filter box, last one was replaced with individual paper air filters.
Bike starts on 1st or 2nd kick.
Can not comment on power/acceleration due to using new pistons.
Shall post relevant photos soon.
My leave days are over and I'll be joining a ship soon, hopefuly photos
will be ready before I sail.
