Ive bought a damaged engine on flee bay (much to the wifes disgust she cant understand why I want another! ) its a kr1s would I notice if I put a kr1 barrel on as a replacement or has anyone got a spare 1s barrel

The KR1 barrel will fit but you'll loss some power compared to the 1s. The power valves are smaller on the kr1 and the porting is different. You'll need to make sure that both barrels are the same I ran KR1 barrels last year on my KR1S although I've now replaced them with some proper 1s ones.
