She's a runner.

Well, as advised by you all i changed all the fluids , fresh fuel , cleaned the carbs and new plugs , gave her one kick and a choir of angels sang in my ear . It sounds crisp and there's no smoke. However it wont tick over off the throttle and there is a delay between opening the throttle and the power coming in , this only happens on the intial twist of the wrist . I took her around the block and she flew but on slowing down and accelerating again the delay in power is there. Dont have an air filter in at the moment , would this make a difference ? Cheers all .......Ricky.

sounds like either the carbs are set up wrong or you have an air leak on the inlet rubbers.
