It looks fabulous - great job
Did you look into using standard KR1 pipes? I have bought a dint free set of KR1 pipes that will need coating / painting and I'm just starting to think about who to go to. 1-S pipes arn't so critical a good polished end can is fine but the KR1 standard pipe needs a good finish - any advice

I want to put the cash towards paying off the house, ive advertised it as px or swap superbike etc because it may make a sale and the other bike may be easier to sell on, then i have cash in the bank, and then i may sign up for a BIG BANG R1 at £160 pm.
But i really would love to keep it for ever but im so close to being mortgage free then i can do what ever i want inc building bikes, i may even start restorations for people.

she really is stunning. im sure your front door will soon be worn out from the constant knocking of folk wanting their own builds doing. since i fell on this site you and martin have inspired me to flog the gsxr and get a project to see if i can get any where near this level of perfection. keep up the good work

IF IT DOESNT MAKE IT FASTER LIGHTER STOP QUICKER OR BRING ME SEXUAL SATISFACTION IM NOT INTERESTED!

Well my KR1 has 10 days left on ebay then they can all sod off as it will be taken for a bloody good thrashing and then stored away for a loooooooooong time, i have afew improvements i would like to do though, recovered seats, uprated suspension, standards pipes.
As i know some people are watching hoping it doesnt sell and i will drop the price, that will never happen if anything the price will go up up up.

It's sooooooo good if I was you I'd raise the price now to £5k on EBay - serve them right for taking the p*ss and not snapping your hand off

To be honest Shaun, I'm happy to hold on to it for a while, You tell me where there is another for sale like this! there isnt next year the price will be £5,500.
You get what you pay for in life, and down my street there are owners of: KH500, RD350 1976, GT380, CBX1000, CB400 4 so there are plenty of guys who love old bikes and we can ride to a local meet each week, i will still get my R1 and pay off the house with or without the sale of the KR1.
I make a start on building my garage tomorrow

The bike still has pre-mix in the tank so smokes like a bugger at the minute.
