Frame number JKAKRMB16KA005688

Post by Nimbussen0 »

Hallo Mates - i've just bought a KR1 - this is a dream come true.

But i'm a bit confused about the frame number.

I saw the different frame numbers in another post on the site but it doesn't seem do match my number?!?
The number is JKAKRMB16KA005688

Im pretty certain mine is a KR1, not a KR1S, cause of the frame and the missing reservoir at the rear shock suspension.

I hope its a 88 or 89?

Hope you guys can help me. Thank you in advance.

Best regards from Kim Bisbjerg, Denmark

Hi Kim. You'll get more answers if you re-post in one of the other forum sections. This one is for the KR250A tandem-twin and yours definitely isn't one of those. :)

Hallo Pepsi
- THANK YOU!!! This were just what i needed.
Mine is first registered in 1992, so that’s what the papers say, BUT i knew it were a 1989.
The reason for this and why its important, if it is a 1989 i can get a classics insurance, and its 75 % cheaper than the normal one.
Again, thank you.
Kind regards Kim
