Cyl head KIPS valve bush
Think I can see some bushes down in the head for the powervalves but there's nothing on the parts diagram, has anyone had a go at changing them before and know anywhere I can order a set in advance?

Re: Cyl head KIPS valve bush
there are no bushes in the head, only seals.
maybe someone has already done a "repair" and putted bushes in ?

Not sure if it's a repair or not. I've got 2 cylinder heads, one from a UK engine and one from Jarno so guessing a European engine, both have the bush inserts and look identical. The slackest bushes coincidentally have very leaky valve seals at the top so thinking the excess play and gas pressure passing by is making the seal leak.
I think I'll have to push one out and measure it up.

Re: Cyl head KIPS valve bush
I've made replacements before in brass and at the same time I replaced the top worn shafts of my power valves with stainless.
Has worked very well, I think the aluminium on the power valves is originally plated or hard anodised from factory
I also think that worn linkages and loose cables would wear the seals quicker
Not sure where you would be able to buy some or have them made, maybe Charles or BDK or a local engineering company near yourself?

Re: Cyl head KIPS valve bush
I have a couple of loose B-model heads, which both have those bushes. Maybe the C-model heads don't have them... ?
