Pocket rocket Gary, I'm used to 400's, been racing against them long enough.

Looks like I'm not going to get much racing in this year, as I'm now chairman of Derby Phoenix MCC. I could be up for bringing the KR-2 over for a few laps of Cadwell

You'll notice a massive difference in your bike with the case work you did. The KR responds really well to that mod

It's easy to do.

I did a tutorial, but the images have all gone now, so it's jseless. I fill my cases and am more aggressive with removing material. Will email you some pics and you can just ask for any specific angles etc.

Gary, it was pretty straight forward, if you want to see the bits I did follow this thread

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11423&start=30

I had advice from Ben while I was doing it, decided not to do the sections of filling on my cases and just did the grinding and flowing work. Got myself a Dremel with a flexi drive and a couple of small carbide cutters. In all it probably took 10 or 12 hours but I did work on the barrels and valves as well, as Ben said I can't wait to get in on the road and see how it goes.

Had a pootle round Cadwell on the KR1s. Last session of the day so was taking it steady

Here are some pics from the Saturday as well. As an aside the guy in the black leathers had ridden his KR1s from Shetland to Cadwell and was riding it home as well. What was that about how often should you change pistons......Ride it Don't hide it.....

Thanks for the photo's Phil, was good to get the bikes together and have a look, credit to Martin for riding all the way down (after 2 days on the track I don't envy him riding back either, I can hardly walk as it is).. Got some footage off the camera finally.

Had a fantastic weekend, CBT & PSB organise a great weekend, well worth it :-)
