Hi everyone... Ish!!!
Soooo it's a pretty simple question, I'm a tad miffed that no one has a reservoir holding bracket,
So I'm thinking a replacement shock isn't a bad idea, the one I've got is a little cruddy, kind of soft feeling, and the damping adjustment is making not much difference as I move it.
A new hagon should be well damped, sprung to my weight and shiny!!
Who's had one or got one to tell me what they are like!?
Cheers Martin.
Hagon shock? Who's got one?

Re: Hagon shock? Who's got one?
Lets be honest once set up how many people alter their new "mde to measure" rear shock. Once it's setup and installed do we really need remote reservoirs ?
Hagon have a good reputation and at a good price.
Alternatives are http://www.shock-factory.co.uk/m-shocks-home.html
M Shock I think, now do a slightly more advanced unit with more individual adjustment

Re: Hagon shock? Who's got one?
Thanks! I may have to give them a call if I don't get the bracket.
Once a shock is set up for me, I never touch them unless it starts feeling funny,
My z1000 has an adjustable shock from a zx6r in it that's sprung and valved, and I've not touched it in two years!
Thier also seems to be quite a lot of play from the lower shock mounting,
A new shock seems very appealing now!
Cheers Martin.

Lower shock bearing is part of the linkage not on the shock
Wilbers also make replacement shocks, on ebay etc. Should be better than Hagon

Got my hagon shock guys!!
Well so far, a few shakedowns up the road, and it's very good.
No squatting on acceleration, quite stiffly sprung, well made too.
It also took a little of the slop out of the travel!
I would recommend it so far, if it changes I will let you know!

I've got one of these
Nice shock and quite stiff like you say
You don't realize how bad units can get until you replace them

Yep Garry, I'm amazed at how firmly sprung it is, but it's also a very light bike!,
The damping may need to go up a little as it felt a tiny bit pogo as I hit some lumps, but Hagen also say it may take a bit to bed in.
The severe lack in engine braking is going to take time getting used to!
As well as keeping it on the boil!
Cheers Martin
