Just keep polishing, polishing, polishing, it's worse than flatting primer.

More progress today on paintwork belly pan painted and fitted. Run her up after 2 years. 15 minutes of kicking, I realised I'm not as young and fit as I used to be, bump start down the hill no, pushed her back up, by then totally knackered. Had a 5 minute break to get my breath back and had another go, she fired up with major amounts of smoke, but after a short while that started to clear, but I am playing safe running a 50-1 premix along with the autolube, but sad news, the Rattle is still there, but the good news is at the correct idle speed of 1350rpm no noise, probably was always ok I just tried to set the idle to low. Happy days :D road her up and down the road a few times just to annoy the neighbours surprising how quickly people close their windows lol. Only managed to get to second gear, bloody hell for a 250 does it get a move on, well back on the ramp to continue with the paint work and maybe rebuild the carbs it I can find the rebuild kits on evilbay. Now waiting for the fairing to be prepared for paint and the red seat cover, then MOT :D
EDITED LOL
