finally got my KR1s home.!!! now the work can comence...
hi folks.. got it at last.
been trying for 6 months..or more
one owner ex australia bike (regd in spain in 94)
unique here as they were never available.
totally original except mirrors
i´ll get some photos and my progress up over the weekend.

Dont get Bernie going on polishing your end bit! There will be no stopping him.
On a more serious point John the regulator rectifier looks pretty corroded. Please be carefull with these since if they fail full charging current will hit the ECU and cause some expensive damage. Many of the guys on here replace the old rectifiers with modern ones from Electrexworld.

On a more serious point John the regulator rectifier looks pretty corroded. Please be carefull with these since if they fail full charging current will hit the ECU and cause some expensive damage. Many of the guys on here replace the old rectifiers with modern ones from Electrexworld.

Nice find - how do prices compare to the UK
Never heard of Deox C so googled it and it gets some good reviews - going to give it a try on my rebuild - safe to use too

when you get the knack with it deox c is great. wash out and make sure tank is grease free for best results,
dont leave in for too long 12-18 hours works for me.. depending on how rusty.
then rinse well with clean water.. and dry well.. i use a heat gun with care.. too over zelous and you can burn the paint from the inside out.
theres no way to compare prices as these bikes were never sold here in spain.. i have one of very few imports..
