Hi Wayne,

Fantastic job you should be very proud of that =D> =D> =D>

Is that a KR1S engine that you have?
(Not sure if I could see a fixing for the inner clutch case behind the oil filler)

Cheers,
Bernie :D

Excellent work there, can't believe what it looked like before, don't think I'd have dared take that on :)

One 'suggestion' would be to move the earth from the reg position to the coil fixing, as it's possibly insulated by the rubber well nut, unles you've got a good earth through the bracket??

Once again, would be happy myself if I had that in the garage.

cheers everybody just makes all the hard work worth while.
Hi Bernie i'm interested to know if it is a kr1s engine, i know the top end is can you explain please for me.
Cheers Charles.
Hi Headcoats it does look great i thought to the b4 and after shots cheers.
Cheers 375 patina has many meanings but all points in the general direction i catch your drift, and the fairing needs a bit of tlc as i broke it but not a problem though, and i have had my hair styled to the over 40 look
Hi SP i have been looking at that and i don't think there is a good earth there, i did try to scrape some paint but don't think it works as i connected the earth from my hot wire connecter the red ignition on in photo's, i connected the earth to get the idiot lights neutral, oil ones on but did not work but worked else where but still run ok apart from rev counter not sure if that earth has anything to do with it cheers.
Cheers Jarno.
Cheers Malsa

Hi Wayne,

The KR1S has an extra fixing behind the filler cap.
