I would have thought the carb has a bit of crap in there stopping it from shutting off, i had abit of petrol rubber pipe in mine.
(probably came off when i put the pipe on the tap)

With the mounting bracket alot say take the engine out so you can weld all around the bracket, ok

Why not take pipes off, take swinger off and weld what you can get to, You will be able to weld across the back and down part of the side/s of the bracket and front?

The engine has already moved so i asume it will still be ok, it has only move about 2mm max, could save you some work?

how did you get on with the stuck shut off valve will.

anyway, another new bit for your bike, hopefully may cheer you up a bit seeing the photo.
today i rebuilt your front calipers.

Will sorry to hear of frame news as you have been so meticulous with everything so far. Re fuel leak. The height of the fuel will increase the pressure of fuel in the carb , which may be contributing to the leak. I realise this is a minor issue, but a quick trial with the tank on will rule it out.

Saturday morning was spent removing engine Again, The Good news i managed it in 1.05 mins, i'm getting used to it now! haha

Took carb bottom off and then decided....it looked too complicated for me

today i will refer to manuals and then get stuck again so Expect a call martin.

triple s came through in the end. powdercoat is perfect[now why could,nt they of done it perfect in the first place,] oh well.
it is all now rebuilt with new seals.

Frame back to Welders so all good for a rebuild again soon, been mega busy at work and planning the wedding so mrs will77 to be has been spending some hard earned cash so back on it towards end of month. More pics to follow.

Hi All, been away alot with work so not been on lately...hope your all well.

oh and i got a telling off for my company mobile bill came in at £158 for using the tinterweb on it.

good news is Frame is all welded up again and the Crack is gone as if by magic.

the bike is all built up again, not started it yet thou to check the fuel overflow is resolved so fingers crossed

Calipers still to fit but everything arrived, new brake hoses, new pads all round, new chain and all fixing bolts and screws, nylon washers and even got the nice large washers for side fairings all ready to go again soon.

anyway we like pictures so i have sneaked off from the office today for a catch up in the paint shop. all parts extensively repaired and all plastic welding done and dents and cracks repaired.






so back again soon when all running..

Ok Guys and girls, i have been very busy and away from the forum far to long!!

i have had the frame welded and everything is back on and the calipers are fitted, just....a little to close to comfort on that KR1 wheel with the 1S front end but it all fits...

so the bodywork.....now i know this wont be to everyones taste and i have changed my mind 4 times on paintwork......so i decided i wanted to keep it as per original design (ish) but with my twist as it is my bike.....

so here you go, just the two and not all bolted on properly....but i hope some of you like it.
