Getting back on track, I needed to sort out the bottom engine mount....
So I thought it would be a good idea to drill out and rub down an A2 35mm washer...
I need to get it down to 0.5mm
Well...I now have no fingerprints and have given it up as a bad idea (off to buy some shim steel/brass instead)

It was like playing with razor blades

I could try safe cracking now
I think I may have spilt some solvol on my pipes....

I quite like the chromed look, reminds me of my Allspeeds off my 400E

Plenty of views but not many comments, I was expecting some OCD or Solvol addiction remarks.....

Bernie I agree PJ1 is the way to go, however it needs a key , so dig out some 400 grade emery and give em a once over. Then into the shed on a damp day for a good coating of black paint!!!!,
Only joking, looking really nice, could this be a Christmas ride (2014 Chrismas of course)

The plan is to have the bike on the road for March, not sure if it will be painted by then, but it will be running and road legal. It is only really my tank that lets the project down (dented, chipped, scratched and the white flash has gone a funny shade of olde english white), if I could get hold of a good tank I would not bother with the respray - at least not yet

Forgot to mention it has the wrong Kawasaki decals....
Thanks for the comments guys

come on Bernie, just polish your "rubbish" tank, I'm sure it will look good

Hi Jan,
Don't think I have not considered getting an alloy tank
I think you will agree, the tank is rubbish

Repaint it!!!
The silver and white aren't in the right place !!
Or the right shade!
Haha!
Only when it's right, that's when you will be happy!

Couldn't agree more Marty.....
It has got to be right [-o<

)

If you do respray the tank, you may as well paint the whole lot green, white and blue while you're at it

Starting to dig bits out of the boxes they have been in for the last few years.....
Pleased with some bits.... (NOS R/H Assembly)
Happy with NOS Clutch assembly/lever, but not happy with the l/h assembly..
