I was offered a genuine silver one a few years ago, by someone I know and at a very good price. I turned it down and kick myself now, 'cos the new owner had it resprayed green/white... #-o

Please fit a red seat Doug. [-o<

Haven't logged in for quite some time...good to see you're still up to it Doug! So, is the paintjob the last thing to be done on the bike?

Well, I've been around my bikes, all in need of lots of stuff, as I buy them in baskets, but most of my time is spent with my 10 month daughter.
Just out of curiosity how much does a decent paintjob cost there? Here, before crisis reached the today's levels it began at 400 euros reaching up to 650 for a professional outcome. I haven't quoted any price recently, as it is sure to be out of my reach. And I am completely worthless when it comes to the whole painting procedure. I can only paint a frame or caliper, maybe even a yoke but when it comes to plastics, I better stay away.... :D

Cheers, Fanis

We'll last week I contacted Kawasaki uk about a dating cert for the old girl, they told me they send in the frame number, engine number and a cheque for 54 quid they would send the details to japan if every thing matched the would send me a dating letter or if the numbers didn't match my money back. How many 30 year old bikes that have been ridden still have the same engine? So I thought cut out the middle man and emailed KHI japan with frame and engine numbers asking for a date of manufacture and hey presto today email confirming details along with the date September 1984, I wonder if the DVLA will accept an email as proof of dating? Comments!!

Have you ever tried to speak to a human at DVLA, it's an amazing computerised switchboard that sends you round and round till u get pissed of and hang up. To date I have never spoken to any one there.
