Hi Ian,
Pictures please [-o<
I had a flying banana when they first came out (GS750) the shame

I recall the GSX coming out with antidive, they were connected to the calliper with a couple of hoses. Dont remember anything looking like that. Some close ups would be very interesting.

Cheers
Bernie :)

I have been doing some research and the Hot & Cold taps are standard equipment from the factory, I have never seen this before I don't think it was fitted to the UK model at least in this engineering design.

Look closely at the top set of images, it's very quirky :)

I have now got my GSX750ET :D

The engine sounds as sweet as a sewing machine, And one or two things will make you chuckle!!!

This bike has just had a 12 months MOT put on it last week!! Who did the MOT Stevie Wonder!

bit of work required there, obviously the mot guy was on holiday so they got the tea lady to test it :) makes a change from the mot tester I went to six years ago who advised me that the front brake discs on my kr-1 were three thousandths of an inch too thin! that's less than the width of a human hair  six years and a different mot tester later and the same discs are on the bike :) bit confused by the clocks as the speedo is in miles per hour and the odometer is in kilometres, is there a country that measures speed in miles per hour and distance in kilometres :?:

I will make a start on it come winter in the meantime do lots of reading and collecting NOS parts for it.

I have not decided whether or not to have the odd steady ride to work on it, quiet country roads to where I work so can plod around at 40/50 mph on it.

I will get the engine professionally cleaned up in one lump as it is very sweet, I will just have to make it water tight.

OK I fibbed!!!!

I am not waiting until winter to start the rebuild into a shinier than a shiny thing, I am starting it on Friday and hope to be dropping the engine off in Brum mid week for Soda blasting as thats the closest place I can find to Doncaster.

I know it's not a Kawasaki lads but I think I have earned my wings so to speak to make a thread about my build and I will make it entertaining as always :D

WHERES THE SCOTCH!! I do my best work when I'm pissed but Norman my boss frowns on it!!! Spoil sport

Well the GSX is stripped to the frame, no real dramas except the wiring loom is a joke so me and my mate Rob will be making a new one later,

The cam cover breather is broken due to some ham fisted dick, and that's it so far so I'm happy.

I will post pictures tomorrow evening. :)

Started to strip the engine down, Things started off bad by a cam bearing bolt snapping off in the head, then the little 6mm bolt at the front of the cylinder snapping too. :(

So they will be taken to my friend Martin at MK Engineering in Maltby to have those removed.

Then once the crankcases have been split there are a couple of little nicks that just want building up and the dressing back to shape,
Then finally take them for soda blasting.
