I know what you mean, I still pop down the pub on mine now and again and everybody wants to talk about it, wish I had a pound for every time I've heard "i used to have one of them" or "i had a chopper 'cos my mum wouldn't let me have one of those"

A little more progress on my 1969 Raleigh Rapier.

That is sooo nice , cant wait to see it built up.

This is the colours the bike was painted from the factory back in 1969,



The only thing is when they chrome plated the dropouts they dipped the whole frame in the acid bath removing all the original paint contrary to my very clear instructions as we were going to use that for a colour match.

Just treated myself to a nice bell for my Raleigh, shiny

It does not matter how clear your instructions are, most people dont care, dont bother, and have no pride in what they do, and customer service is just a desk you complain at now
