it is black shimmer i had it blasted and buffed as i like the semi polished look and as for r7-1 try looking at all the models they done if u dont belive me my adress is 201 lichfield road walsall wood , walsall ws9 9nx come round il show u the bike and the log book clearly stating r7-1 end of

go to a yamaha dealer u twit theres 1 version mate their homologation models for racing and that you got aint an r7 its an old r1 so youve paid £23.000 for an r1 =D>

you should notice the ohlins and trick bits yours has none of that and ive seen an r71 in the flesh my local shop cmc had 1 for ages

kr1s thats not a kr cause its got an upside down front end thats not a kr coz its got a banana swing arm speak to me nicely and il tell u wot ive done to mod my bike i never said it woz an original seat unit sorry if i have a missis who likes to go on the back of a bike il post a pic tomorrow with the original on
