that might explain it 'cos my kr-1 is a b2 model, hadn't had a ride on mine for two months as the weather was crap but put two new spark plugs in it and it fired up first tjme, was really impressed, found out when i got to the end of the road though that the brakes need bleeding!

The more I look at this bike, the more I like it.
I really think its the colour scheme. There is a kmx125 (not the prettiest of Kawasaki's bikes, I own one

) on ebay at the mo & that has a black & white colour scheme, looks tops.
Just really suits some bikes.

I have seen original black tanks. I'm not sure which ones got them?
I've got a black one in me spares box, wondered where it had come from.I still think it needs the seat unit sorting out,and renthalls

well its all a matter of taste but i bet if you saw it side on it would look pants
KR1 tanks are pretty ugly on their own and i din't think it possible to make
its seat look worse

- some things are best left with their cloths on

I'd really like to see some more pics of this bike from different angles.
MJ, any chance of asking the owner for some more pics please? [-o<

I don't like streetfighter/cafe' conversions, but that looks good, seat unit has the ol'school look about it.

yeah KR1 oil tanks were black.

KR1 Man calling, just seen the 'French Streetfighter' for the first time and have taken the executive decision to create the 'English' one. Colours to be worked out, seat to be decided on when I get that far. Just need to get the parts I listed earlier today then let's do it. Best regards, KR1 Man.

Good for you Kr1 man, is it going to be exactly the same but with a red cross painted on the tank?
Only joking, lets show our French cousins that we can do 'streetfighter' just as well as they can.
And remember to post pics

KR1 Man calling. Did think about the Cornish National colours of black & yellow with the 'One and All Logo on the tank, (this resembles a set of yellow billiard balls set in the triangle) or the black cross on a white background (which is their flag). Best regards, KR1 Man.
