So what are we doing?
Are we going to have a whip around and all put a few quid in and end up with some spares?
I'm game, over to you guys (and Gals)

Cheers
Bernie :D

I might have a solution to the bottom bracket problem :-k

I was sorting through some parts today when I came across some old exhaust mounts. They are the same type as the rear exhaust mounts. They where on dozens of different Kawasakis so they will be easy to get hold of.

I just thought that might work if it was'nt so deep.So I've cut one down by 5mm and as it takes a M10 bolt I've sleeved it out with a wee bit of silicone rubber tube to take the M8 mounting bolt.

Put it all together and its a nice fit.If there are any problems with heat affecting the rubber sleeve,I'll just sleeve it out with steel.

What d'ya reckon :-k

hi,

the metal insert required has an ID of 8mm which is then pushed in a rubber bush, i have some inserts to test over the weekend.

i have access to a couple of lathe's at the school i work at and will most likely get someone to show me how to use them

ok, kit has been made up and fits spot on into the bracket.
going to be posting a pic shortly.

i think it is viable to supply kits to those interested in refurbing existing brackets

apologies for the delay in getting some pictures up.

sorry for the slightly iffy quality but you should get the idea.
was looking at possibly refurbing a couple if people are interested

pics are located Exhaust Bracket

this is my own one which is rather shabby will look better with a lick of paint :D
takes the M8 bolt without the need for sleeve's or bushes

most likely around £10-£15
need to make sure i can still source the parts that i refurbed mine with.
shouldnt be a big problem.
