I was hunting for a white GSXR 600 but there was few under $10000. So I thought I'd have a look at the ZXR's that's when I stumbled across this. The paint needs redoing, it looks like it was put on with a roller and in places you can see the original blue showing through. I've arranged to have it done in white with a blue pearl. Now I just need the time off work to get it done.

couple of years back some Greenie terror mongers did this to our ones...
deflating satellite dish domes....
The prosecution said the trio cut their way through fences into the base, then slashed the plastic cover over a satellite dish with sickles.
Lawyers admitted the men attacked the base but said they were driven by a belief that the satellite caused human suffering and their actions to shut it down, if only temporarily, were lawful.

Those deflated radar balls look like giant used 'noddies' to me...?
(northern slang dictionary - noddies, plural for used noddy which is also known as a rubber, jonny or if you come from Blackpool a crisp packet.. lol)
Greenies have a lot to answer for... Unless they are Kawasaki greenies of course

Talking of other bikes I had a few hours spare in Bristol on Saturday and took a Ducati Multistrada out for a test - no intention of buying one but bugger me its fun. Can't recommend it enough (just for a joyride though)
The salesman was leading on another Ducati and said it was "optional to keep up as it was my licence at risk" - he led me up to 135 which was pushing it on the Bristol ringroad on a Saturday afternoon - maximum grin factor though

I could never test ride a Ducati.... Purely because my hand to wallet reflex is much faster then my rational brain.

back on thread (kind of)...
I drove HALF of route 2 (south) in 1996
when I saw the very last 500GP (for Eastern Creek circuit) - Criville takes out Doohan in a crash 2nd last corner - handing race to Capirossi
The following weekend I drove down to see WSB at Philip Island !
at the time it was said 500cc wouldnt be back to Sydney until 2012 (which was a lifetime) - circuit lease issues or sumthin' - who would have thought they would be gone for good !

I need to upload some of my own video

Doohan - what a hero !
I always used to watch the bike racing in the 90's and Doohan was simply brilliant.
Shame he didn't ride a Kwak tho

The Island is a lot better track anyways.
Yeah, I'm a bit over an hour away from the Island as well, but still havn't made the ride down for a GP yet. Will be taking the 750 down if I ever get it finished.
