I'm not saying they don't work, I'm saying why have 5 parts made when you can do it in 2 using one of the original spacers?

Thanks for the info guys much appreciated. :D
Compensate at the front end,
my forks are raised through the yokes an inch already, would this be enough?
Dont really fancy swapping the whole front end over to something else.
Does it actually lower the rear by 1 inch when you take into account the tyre being different?
Cheers again guys 8)

That sounds enough Dave, no front end swap required. The difference in height from an 18" wheel to 17" is about 1/2" or 12mm.

Dave, in my faster days (long ago  ) I found a Kr lacks ground clearance when cornering, so lowering it even more wouldn't even have been an option then.

or maybe if you haven't got that problem, you are not going fast enough ...

Jan's right, height is an issue, but alot depends on your exhausts.

my mistake, its not an inch,15mm so just over 1/2".
Yes i agree, pipes are the first thing i touch down, the Gibsons are rather bulbous and have no Flat like stock S for clearance, but only place i ever deck them is the Bus Stop chicane at Mallory when you flick right over the curb, ive sorted that now, just welded a plate over that area, wont wear through now. :D
I used to deck the pegs out so i made some steel brackets that raise them an inch or so.
TBH im not racing, only Trackdays so im not pushing the limit of myself or the bike, just having a bit of fun. :D

TBH I personally don't think it's worth doing a wheel swap for what you use the bike for Dave. Bridgestone BT090's are an excellent sports tyre and give plenty of grip on the track.

Ah thanks Andy - I am kinda pleased how its gone together
Just gotta sort out a throttle cable and find N06 slides for the Airstriker carbs. Allens performance have none in stock or 155 main jets. Think I will message Mark, I'm sure he will have some in stock.
