Great stuff Bernie... Looking forward to seeing the results
(Oh and I'm crap at setting the washing machine too.. I always put the wash stuff directly in the drum because I don't know which tray to put the powder in.. )
If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..
Hi Ben,
Thanks, I will be saving all my pennies up after Christmas for the paint work, but it should be road legal by the end of March (2014). If I could sort out a decent tank I would not bother with the paint work (as all the other bits are in quite good condition - I may end up getting some paint from RS and having a go at the tank myself - it could not be any worse than it already is )
Sounds like a good idea to me and you have nothing much to lose by giving it a go yourself.
I've just stuck the dish washer on with some pots, so after that load finishes, I'll be running the cases through it to make sure all the media is removed. Should make a start building the engine this week and I've arranged to see my fabricator in the new year to make up the front sub-frame. Also sending my Techno-Flex off to Firefox Racing racing, so that's all boxed and ready to go.
All I see is hrs hrs of polishing, the bits I done took long enough, patience is a virtue, and that Luders is some serious engine porn and more, top job Bernie.
Its all about the turnips
