Is that a wiring loom or Christmas Lights?

Just got a NOS rear seat cover (to go with the front one I already
have)
All I need now is to find a good upholsterer to fit them
Can anyone confirm the standard finish of the boss that fits through the front seat pad (the one the fixing bolt goes through)?
Cheers
Bernie

Had a look at my seat boss, rust is the finish I have
The nut underneath has a small bit of green finish left on it.
I am sure you will get a more useful reply soon

If the standard finish is rust & green, it looks like I don't need to do anything

Looks like a satin black with a hint of green to me..
Top the same but uniform cover like a large coated washer

Do you think it is an electroplated finish, some sort of a passivate?

Looks more like an electroplated finish to me, rather than paint.
How OEM do you want it Mr B ?

Hi Shaun,
I am looking for the same level of durability, actual colour/finish is a secondary consideration

I am on the road next week, so I intend to call in at a few platers to see what they can do.
I want to do something with the side stand bracket, as it is steel and I don't want a painted bracket. (bright zinc or hard chrome) not sure yet.
I will call in at Philpots, can anyone suggest any other good platers?
Cheers
Bernie
