Just like to say. The bikes listed as 350 lc, were mostly power valves (ypvs). Any bikes seeming down on power are obviously genuine lc's.

morning :)

very, very nice bikes but the dyno runs are disillusioning....
Are this rear wheel power or on the clutch?

the kr1s is reportedly as the "fastest 250 production bike" and no more than 50HP???

regards
dirk

I think i've just found my missing bhp.
Removed the air filter and the idle speed increased 800rpm  .
Oh well there's always next year. but i was half pleased with 50 at the rear wheel.
Take a look at the filter :) .

No-one wanted 'em when they were new in 1984, too expensive. So they sat unloved - and unregistered - waiting for the enlightened to come along and give 'em a good home. I've got a C-reg one and an H-reg one but they both came out of the same batch. Gary's must have been well hidden at the back of the shop...

My KR250A was first registered by Bat Motorcycles in 2000, after hiding in it's crate for 16 years!

I found it as a part-exchange at the back of a bike shop, having owned it since 2001.

As strokerboy has already mentioned, they're still turning up from time to time!!!

Here endeth the history lesson.
