Thanks, for the comments on the frame.
Here's the engine ready to go in.
Its a bit more Orange county than I intended,
but kept it well short of a show engine,
because it will get used.
The engine came from Mr. MJ43 8)
I would have had it fitted tonight,
but its a three man job to get the bike of the toolbox.
Scored with the KIPS links & pulleys
bought a couple of boxes of dismantled engine's
& among this in a padded Bag a complete almost new set.
Alan.

Looks superb that Alan, what is the finish?

PJ1 satin on Heavy ali oxide blasted finish. The plastic genny cover etc I used Acrylic bumper paint . Seems to have a good hold We'll see in use. The bolts are your supply turned on a lathe to flange head. Alan.

this is without doubt gonna be the dogs bo**ox KR1s,

how long as it took altogether up to now?

its defo got to get in PB magazine,
never mind projects, this will go in the "what if" section because it ;ooks like a v modern take on the KR.....

maybe kawasaki will be on the phone to you....

would love to spend so much time and detail on my bikes but just seem to want to do too many things to too many bikes at once...

top job alan =D> =D> =D>

cant wait to see th finished product \:D/

omg, thats f****ng gorgeous. the best ive seen closely followed by reds black motor. never thought id like black on a kr motor but it does look modern. i see you have shortened inlets. is the motor tuned by mark? anyone considered having engine parts anodised? i reckon anodised black would look good and be mega durable, ideal for those that frequent tracks regularly and have the motor in bits quite a lot.
