Right, we're now up to 3 pages of bad attitude, crap and stuff, so can we please get back to "normal" now?!!!

Daniel, you seriously need to calm down mate. You offer a great service to KR1s owners, it would be a shame if your hot headedness got you banned from the site.

I must admit your bike raised a doubt or two, what have you done to it?

now sorry Daniel, and I don't want to start a fight, but that IS an R1 with R7 body work (no sorry, ONLY the fairing is R7). nothing more, nothing less :!:

look at the frames/swingarm's/footrests/rear suspension/fueltank/rear plastics/.... everything on your R7/1 is the same as on the 2000' R1, and looks nowhere near an R7 :-k

r7

Daniel I am not trying to wind you up I am just trying to get my head round what your bike is. I can't see how a bike with an R1 frame and an R1 engine can be anything but an R1.
daniel wrote:r7 frame r1 motor 03 model brought it like that of the shelf from yamaha costly but worth it only got 7 miles on the clock now witch woz 2 laps round donnington and pushing it round the pits and taking it to shows nice if i dont mind saying so =D>
It clearly is not an R7 frame (as you stated) it is totally different, you must be able to see that surely? I cant see any of the trick bits from the QB carbon link either so unless all the trick bits have been removed and replaced with R1 gear then that makes no sense.

Also you state you changed the seat as your missus has been on the back but then say the only time it has been ridden is 2 laps of donnington.

I am sorry you felt the need to start ranting again but you must expect comments when you post up a picture of somthing that is as confusing as this. My comments have nothing to do with any pevious issues with you and the forum.
Garry wrote:did you look at the link?

if ts same as daniels used R1 frame and sold through yamaha dealers
Gary, sorry but the bike in the QB carbon link is completly different from the bike shown in Daniels posting. The biggest give away is that on the QB carbon R7 1 the bike has a whole R7 subframe "grafted" onto the R1 frame, this bike clearly does not have that. The R1 dual seat unit and pegs would not fit the QB bike as it had the R7 sub frame.

can you give us the framenumber ? you don't need to give the last specific numbers off your bike, just the beginning which identifies the bike's type

and even those might not proof a thing, 'cause framenumbers can be altered (I know, I've done it  when I crashed my frame, I didn't wan't to register a new one)
