slow but sure engine in note new piston, other projects keep getting in the way, just fitted a nos exhaust system to the cb750, fininshed the gixer 750 and sold it, and for my sins just bought a nice fzr600 with issues. wife said i'm suffering from bikus lurgius, no! i just love a chalange.

Brilliant rebuild =D> The Mrs told me that in 20yrs of breaking Kawasakis they did'nt break one KR250. I don't know what that says about the KR, but parts can't be easy to come by.

thanks pablo, i seem to be a serial restorer/repairer can not see a good bike die. No matter what the cost, if i didnt spend it on the bikes i would waste it down the pub, i just love keeping my hand in. This one will owe me well over 2k when finished, but its a keeper and its gona look nice met silver with an orange/red seat. my plan of attack is buy every thing before you start. Then if you get caught out beg... thanks tim.

most of the parts have come from aus, but are gettin thin, I found a few bits i greece belive it or not barrels pistons and head, along with a rear shock, but it cost I just buy, spares that can not be made or adapated from other models, like 3 spare sets of cdi's

Blue roll, ACF, loctite, plasticote, and and other assorted items.
You have got all the same shite on your bench as me. Mind you I've got a two thirds used tin of High temp PJ1, rapidly becoming a collectors item.
this is gonna be the new i spy, lol, you missed the brake cleaner bottle, the 2 stroke oil and the naked lady hum!!! this could be fun. lets see what i can find for the next pic's

nothing much to report, been doing all the boring bits like cleaning and rebuilding switch gear, master cylinders, calipars and rebuilding the carbs ect. And sorting out the wiring loom, replacing melted connecting plugs. in beween sorting and selling a fzr600, bandit 600 and a kawka z750. good old ebay more funds to spend on the kr. now got a stinking cold and dont want to do nothing. hey ho, Next report and pics i think will the running kr!!
