are the fork stations ok. as I notice pitting above the bottom yoke. I know A company that does as new hard chrome

Yes the forks are a little pitted but not bad enough to worry about, I will get them sorted in the future.
They look a lot better in the flesh.

looks good to me, I'd like to know what you intend to do to the rear shock? how are you going to fill, and gas it up???

The rear shock has been refilled, I realised I could not fill it after I put the spring back on, so off it came, refilled the shock, plugged the top, pumped the damper to get the air bubbles out then reassembled the spring, then attached the hose to the accumulator and removed the damper valve from the accumulator bottle, this allows you to refill the connecting hose and bottle, I am now making an adaptor to fill the bottle with nitrogen.....

tidy build ,i use one of these on nitrogen bottle ,set the reg ,push on ,snaps shut when you take it off, job done

I have just got my barrels tuned, we have a fitter where I work, and his previous job was tuning 2 strokes at Stan Stevens.....what are the chances of that!!! So both barrels have been tuned...
when i removed the barrels, one had been tuned and the other not, that could explain the massive flat spot...
they look very good now..

I am nearly ready to paint the fairing and plastics, I have searched the forum for paint codes, has any one just got the numbers for the alpine white, lime green and blue 24? or a close match...?

Fitted the top end today, fired it up, I was surprised when it started second kick....
I have made some kips link arms, my original ones were shot so I have sourced some good quality rod ends and made my own, using stainless link arms and locking nuts.
I have over ordered on the rod ends so I have put the spare ones in the items for sale section and on ebay.
these are all metal and not plastic....

Hey carlsburg - you're doing a top job on this bud!

Out of interest which vapour blaster do you have? I have a vapormate 1 but am finding that information on abrasives/additives and general usage are thin on the ground. Not that I'm not getting good results from it but I just feel that I'm just scraping the surface of what these things can really do..
