Me too, page 16-17, orange bib on grass in background,

.
Other than that had quite a good weekend, got lapped, 2nd novice in one race, lap time not brilliant 1:55.09 was fastest but stayed on bike.
Bent front wheel (dont know how) and broke KIPS linkage which slowed bike on 2nd day.
Tyre pressure of 26psi front and 30psi rear (hot) seemed to work fine,
thanks kwackman12.

I knew that, my post was a bit tongue in cheek, didn't want Gary thinking he could keep it quiet

I was there on Saturday saw him going around, i think he was in the same race with his Daughter ? well same surname?
Went looking in the paddock when the mz race was on but could not find his bike.
Yatsushiro, was you 10th in the second race. I do like your mate's Loctite lc with ypvs engine looks very slick.

Yep, Gary (KR-1S) & Emma (ZXR400) both race in the Rookie 400's. I think they were in the garages, hence you couldn't find them in the paddock.
I did indeed score a best finish of 10th, with 2 11th's and a 12th in the others, best lap of 1:48.4
Higgsy's LC/YPVS hybrid was the star of the weekend. You should have come and said hello...

Did not think of looking in the garage's, came over with Bryan of the lc forum but you wasn't there.
Of all the racing i do have a soft spot for the side car's.
Saw a bad smash in the first race of 125's a local lad from where i live jesse jones ? at druids hope he was ok.

Bugger iv'e been found out "Thanks Paul"

It get's better! first race only managed to do 1/2 a lap highsided it at Hawthorn/westfield, second race came off at Druids (youv'e seen the picture) did manage to rejoin in last place & get past the only Aprilia rs250 in the race down the straight on the final lap (thank you Graham File) first race on sunday last lap coming into Clarke curve thought the rear tyre had let go finished the race but it turned out the bearing in the sprocket carrier had fell apart & was "catching" on the swingingarm. Forth race went without any problems as photo proves

Only problem left to deal with now is trying to keep up with Emma!! Bloody hell is this racing lark addictive or what

Indeed; I'm now into my third season, more keen than ever (and the lap times keep coming down). At 48, I'm having the time of my life !
