well as things progress the more parts i am finding cross over from the GPZ305 i.e speedo cable, interlock diode block, sidestand switch and a host of other bits always good for us UK owners. any one got a clutch lever switch for sale?

And you will also find that quite a few GPZ305 parts cross over to the early AR125 too like sidestand switch, speedo cable, clock casings, rev counter and cable, frame bungs, panel rubbers etc Which is useful.
In fact if you want a 120mph speedo (std is 90mph) in your early AR125 the GPZ305 clocks a straight swap and works fine with AR front wheel drive gear.

a bit of progress ,was hoping to have her running this weekend but the grass was almost a foot tall, so this is as far as i have got

Looks great, could be a bit of rain Sunday,
whats that white plastic bit (wedge shape) sticking out under the front by the lower pipe?

+1 with above looking good ,would you recomend bike benches ive got access to everything free of charge to make one ,would just need to buy a jack

its not untill you have one you realise how did you manage with out one but one now no more bad backs

Fits right behind the belly pan, was nowhere else to put it. Things are in the strangest places on these bikes, haha!

If you get one be prepared for a more relaxed riding position, as it's more upright than a KR1/KR1S.

True that. But that changes if you fit a set of clip-ons below the top yoke.
