But with the frame, swing arm & wheels already powder coated I'm well ahead
Hang about 375, if Chelsea win, does that mean Spurs won't play in the Champions league? Or is it one of those complicated mathmatical things?

I think it will be a rough game

What about the extension

The Englishman in me wants Chelsea to win but the lifelong Spurs supporter wants Bayern von munchausen to win
The bike had no fairings or petrol tank, I knew that when I bid on it. I went round to have a look before bidding & the guy was really honest about the bike, which was nice for a change (not only to me but in the actual listing too

)
But I thought for £396, I got a complete bike minus tank & fairings that had frame/swing arm & wheels already powder coated. Two engines, one a runner & one in bits. An exhaust in very good nick with a scorpion oval end can. A fairly new Hagon rear shock, new tyres (well about 18months old now), new chain & sprockets, that I got a bit of a bargain.
The previous owner had also restored the loom (very good job too

) & started polishing parts (I'll just powder coat them bits

) so all in all, i'm well made up
And for your information 375 this is bike no. Eight

Project no. 7

Congrats to Chelsea, who would have thought an English (hmmm

) team would beat a German side in a penalty shoot out eh?
Very happy for Roberto di Matteo though, always liked that guy.
The plan for the Zxr is just to get it on the road, with minimum fuss & obviously minimum cost
And maybe then have a look at tarting the old girl up a bit

Well its been about 4 months since I last posted anything on the Kr1s project.................erm, well I have been busy, no honestly
If its not paid work then its the extension or holidays or the bloody kids (bless em), so yes progress has been painfully slow.
It hasn't helped that my Kr1 has been crying out for attention. As you may (or may not) remember, I bought Teerex's fairing off him & bolted it to my Kr1 while the bikes original bodywork was off for a bit of a spruce up.
Then I had a small 'off' coming down the drive & smashed the fairing into smaller bits

After picking the bike up, kicking it & calling it all sorts of bad names, I decided that with mot time coming up fast, I needed to paint the original fairing & get it back on the bike.
So that's what I've been doing & here's a pic

Its not very professional & I do need a few more stickers to cover up my p*** poor painting skills but at least now I have a headlight & indicators, I can take the bugger for its mot
I have done up my spare calipers & forks too, so once the bike goes through its mot, they will be going on & I really must do something about my rear disc
And maybe new brake lines all round too

Oh and ive got the whisky out!!!!!
Good to hear it sir, I'm on the vino again
I don't mind shiny, in fact shiny does look brilliant but I suffer with a very rare disease that renders me unable to achieve or mantain shine
Apparently 1 in 5 men suffer from this rarely spoken about complaint
The others own Harleys

Its nothing to be ashamed of Ian.
I can quite easily polish off a bottle of wine or two but when it comes to getting a mirror shine on a set of forks, I can't do it.
I start to shake & then I start to get a bit queasy & it all ends up with a can of spray paint or a healthy dollop of powder coat
Its the maintenence of it all you see, it gives me the wig, I just can't do it
