There are a total of 6 friction plates but the outer plate is different to the other 5 and there should be 5 of the steel plates

Ok thanks for the confamation, any idea why the PDF manual says 7 friction plates?

Havn't got a clue but if you look at the photos on the pdf you can see the 6 clutch plates
