what a nice sound from that airbox 8)

happy that you found it easy to get the head working, and finaly I can stress a little less now that someone else has it working to O:)

So when can I come over and steel your bike :?:

The longer rods, carbs, airbox and little flywheel give it a different sound and feel. It's much free'r revving without that mahousive standard flywheel and the mechanically driven water pump removed. Glad you're pleased to see your work put to use Jan. I guess I'm the first (other than yourself) to fit a fire up the engine with one of your heads.

guess to, that's what I was referring to about the stress. raising your own baby is always easier than handing it out to someone else, as you have seen it grown and know it much better. Guess I raised it well =D>

I know you have invested a lot of time and effort in developing the head. Going back a good few years to the modified standard head, where it all started. It all pays dividends in the end.

If I get chance today, I'm going to do a bit of fine tuning on the setup before putting it through the 3rd head cycle.

Here's the 2nd video with my mate warming it up so I could get a better shot of the bike.

I donno why they were doing that, I obviously need to look at the software and ignition setup. That was one of the issues on the list of things I want to look at before the next heat cycle.

Sounding more like it should will get even sharper than that once you start to dial the carbys in. You really should be riding the bike to heat cycle I do 3 X 5 min 1st to 1/3rd throttle roll on roll off, 2nd to 2/3rds throttle last go for the doctor. EGT probes are a bit far down the pipes but you still should get an idea. You should be proud of that build best sounding KR-1 ever, sounds just like a TZ......but better.
