Carnuba , i use Nattys pastewax available on the bay or any good moto refinisher. Brilliant deep shine. About £12 per tub and a tub last me a year doing 3 bikes and two cars. I only treat them twice a year. Water beads up like mad.

Hi Doug
Showing my age :(
I think they have been garyflex for some years now. You can get them from screwfix or toolstation, the brown (extrafine) give a great finish that can be buffed up to a great shine with a bit of solvol, the blue/grey ones are good for getting out pitting and scratches.

My fork legs, crankcases and frame have not needed any attention since the bike was finished, I would credit that to the wax. It is great stuff Steve :)

Cheers
Bernie :)

I did tighten the head up before the base studs as well, just in case you were wondering. Might have done lots of other stuff wrong, but I did that right

Will do, made it to Squires once last year but the old motor was getting rattly and it was a nervous ride out sadly.. Definitely heading there this year, it'll be a good route to get the engine run in. Finally got the motor back together and it's stashed under the bench now, best get on with cleaning and spraying some of the rest of it :(

Email Borut direct zeeltronic@gmail.com

Once you get it, if you need any advice on configuring and setting it up, I'm happy to help.

Thanks Ben, I've emailed Borut. From what I'd read I thought I'd have to make up a data cable for USB connection, didn't realise it was a specialist cable (sort of USB to interpreter box to serial I think). I've found a few now mainly on American sites so I reckon I'll be able to pick one up within a week or two.. I reckon I'll have a question or two once I get it hooked up :?

Borut sells them for about 50 euros, so paypal him and it will be at your door within a few days.
