I think the pulleys must of turned all the way around[because the cables are not attached] am I right will.

your right Martin, =D> i will call you next week when attaching cables, the kips motor is in bits at moment getting cleaned.

Anyone up for a laugh....school boy error today... Set carbs and locked down, decided to fit air box with great tip off martin to use hair drier to make air box rubbers more flexible, then proceeded to sort loom and then battery and then thought how easy....then looked left and realised I hadn't fitted 2stroke bottle...it won't run without 2 stroke will it...?? So all apart again and refit

. Good news is the loom works and all lights and dash work. Result!!!!

still waiting for the calipers to come back will. oh well. some things are worth waiting for.
today I have sorted you out a tool tray. and these 3 rear brake line clips.
got a say, putting the 3 clips in the ultrasonic cleaner has brought them up nice and clean.

Top man, thanks martin, I'm ready for starting it but a little scared, ha ha. I'll call you tomorrow or Saturday to check I've done things correct, I've also order the silencers off jim lomas so all good, looks awful with the battered silencers on a shiny bike.

Yes mate, used the Guy who Does my car rads, 190+ Vat, bit on expensive side but did a good job and it doesnt leak! result!

yes they will be once it has been turned the other way its just as Martin said they have twisted out of sinc

if you look at this picture :
you can see that the hole for the cable on the left link is on the wrong side (left) of the valve. you can not even attach the cable like this, let alone they will not open/close correctly.

by the way i would take the fairing brackets off they snap so easy and ain't easy to come by cheers

am glad you got it sorted
sounds a bit lumpy. but once you get the tank on rather than running on premix and give it a good run. it should be fine,
give me a ring if you need anything. oh. your calipers are coming back from triple s powdercoat on Monday. so will post a picture up of them once I get them.
oh. and remember to take it easy for a few miles. try and keep the revs down as there are new rings in the top end

OH NO......WILL77 has a Problem!!
Today was tinkering day....decided to reseal the Thermostat as i had a little leak, and then i started again to check the leak had sealed....
then disaster struck....1st problem was the left carb was spewing Petrol out of overflow and i was down on floor cleaning the petrol up and then BANG!!!! THE BIG KILLER BLOW TO THE GUT!!

, i noticed out the corner of my Beady eye.....Frame cracked on lower engine Mount!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!
so tomorrow Ladies and Gents.......Strip bike Down Again and off to the Welders!!!
so ladies and gents.....can you help with the Petrol overflowing situation? do you think its because i'm using a temp petrol tank/ bottle and just too much was in carb? or do you think the Float might be stuck?
thanks all as always....i'm off to a dark corner now to bury my head in the Sand!!!!

float may of temporary stuck[it is the correct 19-20mm height[
poss got some dirt in to it.
give the bowl a tap with something if the float has stuck.
if dirt has got in. remove carb and float bowl. and give it a quick wash with clean fuel [lift out shut off valve [connected to float] and wash
check the tempory fuel tank is dirt and dust free [would make no difference what fuel tank was used, temp or otherwise [as the floats dictate how much fuel goes in
give me a ring if you want will.
