started today with the rebuilt of the engine

removed the head and cilinders found that the first type pistons where still in the engine this engine is never been opened =D> =D>
saw that the crankcases where full of engine oil and fuel.
will refurb the crank in a couple of weeks and built it up again.

today totaly stripped the engine
wil send the crank away for a rebuilt.
wil start on the rest of the bike tomorrow (only cleaning and grease)
wil post more pictures in next couple of weeks

How many KR's have you got there Jarno?

i have got al the kr1s coulours now Garye.
some bikes are project bikes so it is a 15 year project to get hem al done

Hi Shaun,
Slow going as usual, lack of funds is limiting me to tidying bits up.
Can't wait to get it running and on the dyno, don't think it will be this year now

Got the topend rebuilt today fitted new seals , powervalves , headgasket.
engine compleet cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner looks like new
now it is waiting for the crank and than i can put the engine back together

finaly got the crank back ,so i can built the engine
put some new NOS pistons in the engine, new gaskets, new carb rubbers, new powervalves.
also cleaned up the bike under al the dust there is a great bike.
hope to get the bike done in a couple of weeks only the front of the bike and repairing the fairing.

houston we have a problem
started the bike today it still has the same problem as before the rebuilt.
it starts fine but it wil only run on 1 cilinder the left one the right one is getting petrol i know because it is pooring out of the exhaust it is getting a good spark ( swapt sparkplugs 3x)
diconected the sidestand switch.
the rhs cilinder is getting warm but not as warm as it shoult be.
did anyone had this before
