I have just got my new KR after 6 years out the game and 17 years after my last Kr, she is a none runner with no spark and has been stood for 6 years !!!!!!

This is the very picture I bought her off without even seeing her,she looks even better in the flesh!!!!!dont get me wrong there is plenty of work ahead but that's part n parcel with these!

Looks pretty good that
My guess is that either the voltage regulator has gone and the CDI has blown or stator plate needs replacing.
Might be a good place to start checks.

I remember being at the IOM TT one year when "Men Only" were sponsoring Suzuki I think and Linzy Drew (one for the old timers) how can I say this......erm entertained the crowd
Strange thing is I can't remember a single race of the whole fortnight

Many thanks for the warm welcome guys, apparently the lady owner who owned her was out one day and she just died on her !!!!
Ive got my fluke at hand just waiting for this treble man flu to go!

We have a spark !!! It was the stator plate.

actualy the red ones are crap, but positive discrimination of the political correctnessness requires the manufacturers to make some red bikes

Before I attempt to fire her up this weekend where do we sit these days on the auto lube? Do we trust it or go premix ?

Is it clear that it's working ok other than the fact you can see the oil in the pipes and the level going down?
