Hi All,
I will be sharing the restoration of my 1990 KR-1s with you all. please feel free to chip in if you want.
I have owned it for a few years now and have bit the bullet. the problem is it's too much fun to take off the road.... the other reason is people think its an RGV 250, and we can't have that can we... I got it in these colours before you start...

Good start. The paint job doesn't look bad at all. Looks like you're mostly there for a good starting point

Looks nice from the picture. When you restore will you go back to an original colour scheme or keep as is?

Paint job isn't bad at all if it was a Suzuki and believe me, we've all seen a heck of a lot worse.

If it's blue you prefer as a colour, do it in the zeus blue colour scheme.

Good luck with the restoration.

I Have now stripped the bike, I will post the photos of my progress in a bit. i started it last week but am only getting round to uploading everything.
yes it was the bike over finchingfield last year..
as far as colour scheme goes, I am going with stock green, pearlescent white and blue, I had one when I was 17 and it is my favorite colour scheme.
