Rectifier

Post by Finn »

I have just bought a second hand rectifier as my old one I beleive was faulty, it blew nearly all the bulbs and the indicator relay. The original rectifier had the part number SH552-12 with 0.7 under it, the corresponding resistor/diode also had 0.7 on it. The replacement rectifier has the same part number of SH552-12 but 9N under it and the corresponding resistor/diode has 9.4 on it. Can anybody tell me the difference between these parts and whethter they are compatible. My bike is a KR1S 250 C2 registered March 1992. Grateful for any assistance.

Wemoto does a rectifier for the kr1s i think they are about £50 pounds. I had one go on one of my bikes it fried the rev counter an cdi. If it was me i would get a new one.
