Oooh the wait sounds a bit bad and did notice the ones on ebay had dried up
He has them on his site so whether he has them in stock or not
Some on ebay from a bloke who bought some new but never fitted them
but I guess I wouldn't get the one year warranty

Now fitted
Haven't ridden it yet though
The remote reservoirs look a bit out of place but saw another Bonny with a black cover over the reservoirs and it made them blend in
Maybe just fit upside down front forks now !

Matin maybe its the camera angle but in the last shot your pipes gave really blued and the heat affected zone is much more pronounced. If you compare them to earlier photos they are more blued.
Its not running too weak is it.
Have you changed the headers?

Well this was the last run I had but that was with Thruxton needles and 135 main jets, It ran super rich at the bottom and was told to fit the standard Bonny needles and go up to 140 mains which is what it's on now
Standard trim they have 110 mains
I kept the airbox but is gutted with a K&N and belmouth intake trumpet
The pipes were second hand and were quite blued as it came off a fuel injected model if that makes any difference

That's the first pic I had of the pipes before I even ran it

I thrash this more than the LC though
It just has no power or torque, especially torque
I have no rev counter but you get the feeling you are quite up the rev range to keep it on the boil
Just can't ride it on low revs like a Harley

Crap photo but the replacement EBC front disc has arrived today
It's a floating disc so should be better
the old one has got down to minimum now at 22K miles (4.5mm minimum thickness)
I'd loctited the disc bolts on per manual so will be a booger to get them off
I usually just copper slip the disc bolts and don't usually have a problem
Only time was the LC rear disc where I just needed to tweak them back up

Put some 50mm heat shrink over the rear shock reservoir canisters to disguise them
I think it looks better

Instead of disguising the reservoirs for just £20 more you could have got a pair of yss shocks on e-bay that are better quality with more adjustment than the Chinese ones, I only chose mine above the yss ones because I wanted the reservoirs to copy the look of the originals on my 250 Katana

Well it's done now
I got them as everyone that had fitted them were happy with them
In hindsight maybe had some without the reservoirs

Had it's maiden ride today with the new shocks and has totally transformed the ride quality
Actually got back without my back feeling shagged

I noticed the same thing after fitting mine, they were a massive improvement over the aftermarket shocks fitted to the bike when I bought it, the great news is they get better with age (what doesn't?) after being on my Katana for just over a year they are comfortable and the handling is sharper.

My springs are still totally backed off too at the moment
Another thing I noticed was that while accelerating over white lines, the old shocks would make the bike have a good wiggle but with these hardly noticeable
