I am finally getting to race my KR1 in a few weeks time and was wondering what ratio premix people are running? I was running 20:1 before but it seemed a bit oily for my liking. I will be running Castrol A747 oil and my TZ runs 30:1 with that.

35:1 for me is safe, anything richer is too oily. A747 is an old oil, so I've switched to xeramic.

Cheers Luders, I want to just have one oil for all the bikes and the TZs are happy on the A747 so I will stick with that.

I also ran castrol 747 at 40:1 ratio on a TZ350 with no problems, so I will be sticking at that with my newly aquired KR1-S race bike that I intend racing in the TSGP series this year.
