i purchased another engine with set of replated barrels, one is kr1, and the other kr1s, i dont have money to replate my other kr1s barrel at the moment, is it possible to run the engine with these on, or is not a good idea

, has anyone else run an engine with odd barrells?, it would be with 1s pipes and cdi, any help much appreciated

if you run everything stock (not ported, not set the squish correct, so standard way too big squish), I doubt it will make much differnce.

sounds good, iv got genuine head an base gaskets to go on, so it will be standard, would feel even better about it if someone else had run there engine with odd barrels, anyone?

I'd still only run it temporarily like that, untill I could scource 2 of the same barrels.

are the powervalves different as the ones iv got all look identical, thought the kr1 valves were smaller than 1s?

they can be swapped, but the holes in the KR1 valves are smaller.
if you stick the valves in the KR1S cylinder and the hole in the valves do not correspond with the cylinder, you have KR1 valves. If you stick them in the KR1 cylinder and the holes are too big, you have KR1S valves.
